Canada DanceSport (CDS) is a National Sport Federation (NSF) and represents “DanceSport” athletes and officials in Canada.
CDS is the only Canadian recognized member association of the World DanceSport Federation Today the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has 91 National Member Federations on five continents member. 68 of these Federations (including Canada) are recognized by their National Olympic Committee (NOC). CDS is recognized by the Canadian Olympic Committee and Sport Canada.
